During a conference held by Future Movement’s women at Mohammad al-Amin Mosque in Beirut, Salameh hoped that Hariri’s family will follow his steps.
In turn, Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea said via his Twitter account: "They killed you, but they will never be able to kill your legacy."
Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt visited the grave of ex-PM Rafic Hariri in downtown Beirut at the head of a delegation, including his son Taymour, MP Marwan Hamadeh, MP Ghazi al-Aridi. Head of the Future bloc Fouad Siniora also arrived to Beirut to visit the grave of the late prime minister.
This comes as the security forces tightened the security measures across the streets of the capital, blocking Bechara al-Khoury road with barbed wires in both directions, the state-run National News Agency said.
