Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil stressed that the fight for freedom, sovereignty and stability is underway in the Bekaa region, noting that defending a cause and fighting terrorist groups cannot remain ink on paper.
During his visit to the towns of Baalbek, Bassil pointed out that the Lebanese army is capable of fighting terrorism, noting that “remaining silent while mistakes are being committed leads the crisis to grow.”
On another note, Minister Bassil said that the fight of the Change and Reform bloc goes beyond the presidency and army command, “to reach the cause of a large faction of a people deprived of their role.” He stressed that the cabinet is not more important that Lebanon.
