REPORT: Nine protesters released on bail, one remains in custody

Nine out of ten Lebanese protesters who were in custody on the backdrop of riots that took place in Downtown Beirut on August 22, 23 and 29 were released Monday after paying a 100,000 LBP bail.

Only one protester remains arrested seemingly since his lawyer did not demand his release.

Earlier today, the lawyers of the detainees requested their release before the Military Court. They were detained on charges of resorting to public properties vandalism and throwing Molotov cocktails at security forces
