Minister of Interior Mohamad Fahmi and Minister of Public Works Michel Najjar inspected on Friday the Beirut International Airport.

During the tour, Fahmi said that all new equipment and works will be completed at the airport by August.

Fahmi’s comments were made during a joint press conference with Najjar whereby he said that Beirut’s airport “will soon be able to match all airports in developed countries."

For his part, Najjar asserted that there is "a lot to do," adding tat priority is to increase the capacity and expansion of the airport.
