President Aoun chairs meeting for negotiating delegation, meets UN Kubis ahead of talks
President Michel Aoun chaired on Tuesday a meeting for the negotiating delegation to demarcate Southern maritime borders, which will be held tomorrow at UNIFIL headquarters, in Naqoora town.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and National Defense Minister Zeina Akar, Army Commander Major General Joseph Aoun, Director General of the Presidency Dr. Antoine Choucair and members: head of delegation, Brigadier General Pilot Bassam Yassin, Colonel Marine Staff Mazen Basbous, Petroleum Sector Administration member Engineer Wissam Shbat, and expert Dr. Najib Masihi.

President Aoun also met with United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jan Kubis and discussed with him the general conditions in the country, and Lebanon’s position on the negotiations of demarcation of southern maritime borders.
