Dr. Azar to LBCI: A total lockdown decision must be part of a general plan

Dr. Eid Azar said on Sunday to LBCI that a decision of re-imposing a total lockdown contributes to reducing the number of Coronavirus cases, but must be part of a general plan.

He also noted that closure should be done in order to up readiness in Lebanon’s hospitals and to increase the number of PCR tests.

Azar concluded by saying that the number of Coronavirus deaths in Lebanon is stable.
