Hazardous materials from Port of Beirut will be soon shipped to Germany
In a few days, the Port of Beirut will be free from the hazardous flammable materials.

After the 4th of August explosion, containers of dangerous materials were found left at the docks for decades.

An agreement was concluded between the administration of the Port and the German company called "Combilift" to ship these containers to Hamburg for treatment.

The ship will leave the Port in the next few days after completing approvals pending in the Lebanese and German Ministries of Environment.
