Aoun meets Wronecka and Grillo, says forensic audit has begun-[VIDEO]

President Michel Aoun emphasized on Thursday that work is underway to begin negotiations with the International Monetary Fund, and that the forensic audit has begun.

Aoun made the remarks at the Baabda Presidential Palace during a meeting with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Joanna Wronecka.

Aoun went on to say that the government is still addressing the urgent life affairs of the Lebanese people in order to limit the negative effects on citizens.

Among those who visited the Baabda Presidential Palace was French Ambassador to Lebanon Anne Grillo, who delivered a verbal message to Aoun from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

The message reportedly reiterated France's support for Lebanon's president, government, and people, as well as its willingness to provide assistance in all fields to help the Lebanese people deal with the difficult situation they are facing.
