REPORT: The other face of the bustling city of Las Vegas

40 minutes in Las Vegas are enough to transform the visit from one of entertainment to the enjoyment of nature, especially in light of the area’s mountains which are richly clad with trees and temperatures which remain low even in the middle of the summer.

In the second week of December, a snow storm turned the “Mount Charlston” mountains into a ski hill, turning it into the perfect weekend destination.

Dr. David Paker, general surgery specialist, told LBCI that while Las Vegas is the perfect destination for entertainment, one can also enjoy its nature and forests.

In turn, Christopher Salmon told LBCI that when he skis, he looks for excitement and challenge, adding that he loves Vegas and its mountains. “I don’t have enough money to go ski in Lebanon,” he said.

The residents of the state of Nevada are living a different life, away from the noisy bustling city of Las Vegas which is surrounded by the most beautiful natural reserves in the United States.
