REPORT: Film on the “Iranian-American conflict” wins Golden Globes Award

The movies "Argo," and "Les Miserables," were the big winners at the 70th Golden Globes Award held in Beverly Hills on Sunday. While "Les Miserables" was named best musical or comedy, ARGO, a film on the release of American diplomats detained in Iran, was voted best drama movie.

While Hugh Jackman got the award for best comedy actress, Anne Hathaway claimed the award for best supporting actress.     

ARGO’s director, Ben Affleck was also honored at the Golden Globes while Daniel Day-Lewis received an award for best drama actor for his role in the movie “Lincoln.”       

Jessica Chastai won an award for best actress for the role in the movie "Zero Dark Thirty" while Jennifer Lawrence won an award for best actress.

The Austrian movie “Amour” was voted as best foreign language film.     

Singer Adele won the best song award for her song “Skyfall.”      

Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad had a special appearance at this international event through the amazing dress he designed for Jennifer Lopez.
