REPORT: Maharat calls for ending pre-censorship on theatrical works

Maharat, a Lebanese foundation that promotes the freedom of expression, decided to present a draft law stipulating the cancellation of pre- censorship on cinema and theatrical works.

An activist in Maharat said that the foundation’s main aim is to protect the freedom of production and cinema and mentioned that the foundation will be discussing this issue with various Lebanese political parties.
