REPORT: Escaping Cairo’s traffic jams, Egyptians resort to “Nile Taxi”

The Egyptian people have long suffered from a major daily dilemma represented by the huge traffic jams blocking the roads in Cairo.

Accordingly, a new taxi service has been launched using the Nile River and speed boats to transport passengers up and down the river and across the capital and has proven to be the most exciting alternative for many Egyptians who complain about the stressful gridlock and pollution of the capital.

This report will give a closer look at the “Nile Taxi”, initiated by Magdi Kirollos Ghali and Amr Aboul Seoud, and will highlight the way it resolved the traffic problem and facilitated the transportation.
