• Future bloc head MP Siniora: Hezbollah threatens Lebanon's stability by participating in Syrian conflict

Head of the Future bloc, MP Fouad Siniora told An-Nahar newspaper on Friday that Hezbollah is implementing security measures in the Dahieh region in the wake of the Roueis explosion.

MP Siniora slammed the measures, adding that only the Lebanese army "is entitled to carry out such security measures across Lebanese regions."

According to the Daily, MP Siniora accused Hezbollah of threatening Lebanon's stability and security by participating in the conflict taking place in neighboring Syria.

• Caretaker Minister Charbel: Security apparatuses cooperating to reveal plots against Lebanon

Caretaker Minister of Interior told Al-Liwaa newspaper on Friday that the Security meeting held on Thursday at the Ministry of Interior set a security road map, adding that other meetings will be held in the few days to come to implement peace and order in the country.

He stressed to the Daily that the Lebanese security apparatuses are cooperating to reveal all the "security plots targeting the country."

• Thursday's rockets attack may have been launched by hard-line Palestinian group-sources

Sources told An-Nahar newspaper on Friday that the Lebanese government undermined the importance of the warning launched by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pertaining to Thursday's rockets attack.

The same sources said that the said attack aims at fomenting security tensions in Lebanon amid the ongoing crisis in neighboring Syria.

According to the Daily, the sources noted that Hezbollah is not responsible for the rocket attacks, adding that the perpetrators may have been a hard-line Palestinian group based in South Lebanon.

• MP el Jisr: March 8 alliance may target the town of Arsal

Future bloc MP Samir el Jisr told Al-Seyassah newspaper on Friday that Lebanese leaders must form a new government as soon possible "to address the upcoming challenges."

He also noted that only the military institution is entitled to adopt security measures across the Lebanese regions.

According to the Daily, MP el Jisr urged the Lebanese state to pursue all "terrorists", warning against attempts by the March 8 alliance to launch a military attack against the town of Arsal.
