First round of Hezbollah-Future dialogue to be held at Ain el-Tineh, to be attended by wide range of officials-sources

Sources told As-Safir newspaper on Sunday that Future Movement advisor Nader Hariri, MP Samir Jisr and Minister of Interior Nohad Machnouq will join the first round of dialogue scheduled to take place between Hezbollah and the Future Movement.

The same sources added that Hezbollah Secretary General's Political Assistant Hajj Hussein Al-Khalil and Minister Mohammad Fneich will also attend the dialogue session.

According to the daily, the dialogue will be held at Ain el-Tineh as Speaker Nabih Berri and Minister of Finance Ali Hassan Khalil will be also attending the much awaited dialogue.

IS and al-Nusra Front groups attempt to control Lebanese border regions-sources

Sources told Acharq al-Awsat newspaper on Sunday that the Islamic State group and the al-Nusra Front are planning to control Lebanese border regions.

The same sources added that the two terrorist groups failed to control these regions in the past few months.

Bishop Mazloun voices hopes that Aoun-Geagea meeting would break deadlock regarding the presidential elections

Bishop Samir Mazloum told Al-Seyassah newspaper on Sunday that gathering the Maronite leaders at Bkerke to discuss the presidential elections is "pointless" and will come with no results.

Bishop Mazloum voiced hopes that the awaited meeting between Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea will break the deadlock regarding the presidential elections.
