• Nasrallah to deliver a speech at the 3rd International Conference on Islamic Resistance               

Sources reported to Al Joumhouria Daily that Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah will be delivering a speech at the opening of the 3rd International Conference of the Islamic Resistance that will be held in Iran's city Isfahan on the 5th and 6th of September 2012.         

The Awakening of Islamic states,  the Anti-Arrogance Tendencies , the demise of Israel after the collapse of  several Arab dictatorships and the Resistance are the main subjects on the conference's agenda.             

• Okab Sakr names his baby "Saad"         

Al Akhbar Daily reported on Tuesday that Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's counselors Karma Akmakji and Hani Hammoun got married on Monday in France.         

Separately, sources also told the daily that MP Okab Sakr named is newborn son Saad.         

• Hariri, Hassan and Johnny Abdo meet at dinner          

An-Nahar Daily published on Monday that Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri had dinner at La Société  Restaurant in Saint Germain - Paris with his counselors  Nader Hariri, Ghattas Khoury, Information Branch's chief General Wissam Al Hassan and Former director of LAF's intelligence Johnny Abdo.            
Sources said that the biggest part of the conversation between the five was about Michel Samaha's case and the gravity of its political repercussions.           

• Preparations for the Pope's visit are finalized and Muslims applaud it         

In an interview with An-Nahar Newspaper, Bishop Kamil Zeidan confirmed that the preparations for the visit of the Pope Benedict XVI to Lebanon are finalized, stressing that only few little details remain undecided.          

Zeidan said that even though some Islamic figures objected the visit, the majority were cooperative and supportive.         

The bishop stressed that Islamic official authorities and worshipers are convinced that in order to change stereotypes and make the fear of the violent and extremist Islam fade away, the cohabitation specimen of Lebanon should be maintained.        

• Nasrallah receives Khayat

Al Akhbar Newspaper reported on Monday that Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah met a few days ago with Al Jadeed TV chairman Tahseen Khayat after months of estrangement. The meeting's results were positive.
