Islamic State claims responsibility for bus bombing in Kabul
Islamic State claimed on Sunday responsibility for a bomb attack on a passenger bus that led to the death of one woman in Kabul, Afghanistan's capital.

Over the last two weeks of the Holy Month of Ramadan, deadly attacks have caused dozens of casualties and many injuries.

Kabul Police reported the death of one woman and the injury of three other civilians in the bus attack.

This attack comes a few days after another bombing in the capital killed 10 people on Friday, in a mosque where worshippers were performing rituals.

While no group claimed responsibility for Friday's mosque bombing, the IS took responsibility for the bus attack.

It is one of the several attacks that IS has claimed in recent weeks.

Kabul police meanwhile vowed to "ensure security" during the Eid al-Fitr holiday that marks the end of Ramadan.
