Zelenskiy thanks UK for its “leading role” in supporting Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy thanked on Friday London for its leading role in supporting Ukraine, and that on the occasion of the visit paid by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace to Kyiv.

"Words turn into actions. This is what makes the difference between the relations between Ukraine and Britain and those between Ukraine and other countries," the Ukrainian president said in criticism that seemed directed at other European countries, which he did not name.

"Weapons, financing, sanctions: in these three files Britain shows its leadership," Zelenskiy added, according to a video clip posted on his account on Telegram application.
