Syria apologizes to Jordan over embassy attack

Jordan’s foreign ministry announced on Wednesday that the Syrian government apologized over the attack against the Jordanian embassy in Damascus.

According to Jordan's Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Kayed, the Syrian apology came during the meeting between Syria's Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mekdad and Arab ambassadors in Damascus.
