Davutoglu fears Syria conflict turn into civil war, Juppe says ship sailed for Syrian regime
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told AFP on Friday that the conflict in Syria risks turning into a civil war. Davutoglu pointed to the new development of army defectors turning their guns on the regime, saying “therefore I say there is a risk of transforming into civil war.”

From Ankara and at the closure of the talks held in the Turkish parliament with the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said that the ship has sailed for the Syrian regime.

“The Syrian regime can no longer remain in power following its failure to implement the reforms called for by the international community”, Juppe said.
