Erdogan to Assad: Your days in power are numbered

Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened Syrian President Bashar Assad on Monday by saying that his days in power are numbered and that he cannot stay in power forever through his military iron fist.

During a meeting in Istanbul, Erdogan addressed Assad and said: “He can use tanks and canons to stay in power for so long”, adding that one day Assad will also have to step down.
