Zawahiri says Sayyed Nasrallah's truth exposed in Hezbollah's participation in Syria's war

Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said on Wednesday in an audio message posted online that Hezbollah had been used as a tool for Iran’s intervention in the Syrian crisis.

Zawahiri said the statement made by the Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hezbollah acknowledging the participation of Hezbollah fighters in the Syrian war alongside President Bashar Assad "tore off the mask he always hid behind."

Zawahiri also discussed the ongoing crimes against al-Qaeda militants held at Guantanamo Bay detention center.

In this regard, Zawahiri said that unjustly imprisoning Muslims for 13 years without charge is a crime that exposes the lie about freedom, democracy, and peoples’ rights upheld by America.
