Saleh decrees general amnesty

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh decreed a general amnesty on Sunday, pardoning those who "committed errors during the crisis" that has ripped through Yemen since January and killed hundreds of people.

The state television reported that the amnesty "does not include those involved in crime and in the attack against the mosque at the presidential palace compound."
