Two Saudi National Guard soldiers killed in accidental blast

Two soldiers from the Saudi National Guard were killed and two others were wounded in an accidental blast during a training mission east of Riyadh, state news agency SPA reported on Wednesday.

National Guard ministry spokesman Colonel Khaled al-Moqbel said that the accident occurred on Tuesday during regular training mission using live ammunition,” explaining that a bomb exploded inside an army vehicle, burning it completely.

The spokesman stressed that an investigation was launched to reveal the circumstances of the accident.
