Twitter founder and Iran's President exchange tweets over internet freedom

In spite of the mystery that shields over his very active twitter account, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani is quickly finding his footing on social media.

Despite the fact that a temporary technical glitch that unblocked both Twitter and Facebook weeks ago, Iranian citizens still don’t have access to both websites. However, President Rouhani gave a hint on Tuesday that he may want to change all that.

In response to a tweet by Twitter cofounder Jack Dorsey, president Rouhani said that he is exerting efforts so his people may have access to all information globally since this is their right.

The response does not guarantee that any reform may take place soon, but it confirms that President Rouhani wants to give the Iranian people access to the internet mainly social media networks that have been blocked since the year 2009.
