Iraq to discuss with Syria Arab initiative implementation

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari announced on Thursday that the Iraqi government will discuss with its Syrian counterpart the implementation of the Arab initiative to halt violence in Syria.

During a press conference with Arab League Chief Nabil el-Araby, Zebari confirmed that the Iraqi government will exert assiduous efforts with the Syrian government to overcome the obstacles facing the “noble initiative.”
