NATO will not extend mission in Iraq

Iraq’s national security adviser, Falah al-Fayadh announced on Sunday that NATO advised three days earlier that it will withdraw its mission from Iraq after the Iraqi government refused to grant its soldiers immunity from prosecution.

He voiced regret over NATO’s decision, “because immunity is something out of the government’s reach,” he added.
