Russian aircraft carrier Kuznetsov in Syria for six days
Al-Watan newspaper mentioned on Tuesday that Russian warships and support vessels which had taken shelter in the Moray Firth are steaming for the Mediterranean Sea. The Russian fleet is formed of the aircraft career Admiral Kuznetsov, a destroyer and two frigates.

The newspaper added that Kuznetsov will enter Syrian territorial waters in the coming days and will drop anchor for 6 days in Tartous.    

Kuznetsov will be carrying Sokhoi-33 fighters, MIG-29 and K-27 anti-submarine aircraft as well as a rocket defense system against airplanes, warships and submarines.
