Hurricane Arthur expected to begin weakening- NHC
Hurricane Arthur was expected to begin weakening by Friday night and become a post-tropical storm by Saturday as conditions for its development have been deteriorating along the coast of North Carolina, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory.

The hurricane was located about 70 miles (115 km) south-southwest of Cape Fear, North Carolina with maximum sustained winds of 90 miles per hour (150 kph).

"The core of Arthur is expected to approach the coast of North Carolina in the hurricane warning area tonight," the NHC said.
