Russia criticizes western amendments to draft law on Syria

Russia criticized on Friday the amendments introduced to the draft law on Syria, adding that such amendments aim at inducing a change in the Syrian regime.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennadi Gatilov stressed that the western vision contradicts with that of Russia, adding that the amendments voided the content of Russia’s draft. Gatilov urged all concerned parties to end the violence and begin a political process without any foreign interference.
