Egypt: Qatar ordered Islamists out within 2 months
Egypt's Interior Minister says authorities will hunt down exiled Muslim Brotherhood leaders with the help of Interpol, after Qatar ordered leaders there to leave despite initially hosting them following the ouster of Egypt's Islamist President Mohammed Morsi.
     
Mohammed Ibrahim said Sunday that Qatari authorities gave the Brotherhood leaders one month to leave. He also said they ordered reporters for the Doha-based Al-Jazeera Egypt channel to leave within two months.
     
A number of the group's senior members and allied clerics said Saturday they will leave "to avoid embarrassing" Qatar. Their presence had severely strained Doha's relations with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, all of which view the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
     
It was unclear where the expelled would head, though Ibrahim says perhaps Britain or Turkey.
