Egyptian judiciary orders confiscation of editions of Al-Doustour newspaper
The Egyptian Judiciary issued an order to confiscate editions of Al-Doustour newspaper on charges of “insulting the president". The Daily’s editor in chief condemned this decision considering that it “poses a threat to the freedom of expression and press, inciting strife and social chaos”.

According to a judicial source, the confiscation of today’s edition of this newspaper which is known for its fierce criticism of the Muslim Brotherhood, took place upon a decision taken by the Egyptian State Security before being ratified by the judiciary.
