Iran celebrates International Quds Day

International Quds Day was celebrated in Iran Friday with protests against Israel and in support of the Palestinians raging high in several Iranian cities.

According to scenes aired by the Iranian television, protesters held banners with expressions such as “death to Israel” and “death to USA” written in Persian, Arabic and English and chanted correlating slogans.

Pictures of Iran's "Supreme Leader" Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as well as Hezbollah’s flags were also waved high on the streets.
