Pressure cooker bomb evacuates Israeli Consulate in Marseilles

The Israeli Consulate in Marseilles, South-East of France was evacuated Tuesday morning following a bomb alert and a suspicious car found parked outside the building, a well-informed source said.

An anonymous caller contacted the police on Tuesday morning reporting the presence of a bomb at the Israeli Consulate in Marseilles.

The police found a small truck carrying a pressure cooker with electric wires.

Security forces encircled the Consulate and experts seized the explosives carried by the truck.
