Lieberman welcomes Obama’s address to UN

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman welcomed the address of U.S. President Barack Obama before the UN General Assembly, voicing hope that Obama’s statements will prompt the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table.

Liebreman told an Israeli radio station that Obama showed the Palestinians that “there are no shortcuts”, calling on the Quartet to adopt a similar approach.
