Security Council condemns recent attacks in Iraq

The Security Council condemned the "terrorist attacks" that killed nearly a hundred people Saturday and Sunday in Iraq.

The 15 members, in a statement, expressed their condolences to the victims and their families, as well as to the Government and the Iraqi people.

The new members of the Council emphasized that terrorism in any form is one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.
