France discusses arming the Syrian opposition

French Ambassador to Syria Eric Chevallier said that France is dealing with the Syrian opposition, including the armed opposition, pointing out that the issue of arming the opposition is being seriously discussed.

The ambassador confirmed that France is highly committed to supporting the Syrian revolution because this support is commensurate with its aspirations to freedom.
