371 people killed, 4.5 million affected in Pakistan
The government disaster relief agency announced on Friday that the monsoon floods in Pakistan have killed 371 people and affected about 4.5 million so far.
The National Disaster Management Authority said that the worst-hit areas are in the southern province of Sindh, where 2.8 million people have been affected, South West Baluchistan and southern regions of the state of Punjab were also affected.

Pakistan has suffered devastating floods in the past two years, including the worst in its history since 2010, when catastrophic inundations across the country killed almost 1,800 people and affected 21 million.

The floods began in early September, with nearly 80 killed in flash floods, mostly in the northwest and Pakistan-administered Kashmir according to AFP.
According to reports the government was not yet appealing for foreign assistance.
