Somali forces enter the city of Kismayo

Somali Army spokesman said on Monday that hundreds of the government’s troops and allied militants deployed in Kismayo city; former stronghold of the militant group al-Shabab.

450 other soldiers were sent to the city to maintain patrols and stay in the police stations.

Circulation information reported that Kenyan troops from the African Union Forces have entered the city as well to maintain peace.
