Attacks in Nigeria leave several dead

According to citizens and military sources, a number of people have been killed and several buildings were destroyed in a series of attacks carried out in North East Nigeria by the Islamist extremist group Boko Haram.

On Thursday night, explosions and shots rocked the city of Potiskum North-East the country.

Citizens reported burning a number of schools and a governmental building causing the death of several persons.
