Kuwaitis protest against corruption

Following an appeal launched by the opposition, around 3,000 Kuwaitis took to the streets, Wednesday night, to protest against corruption scandals taking over the country.

The protesters warned against a rising tide in popular strikes if the government does not comply with their demands.

Kuwaiti MP Khaled Sultan described what happened as an “unprecedented” crime, adding that the country is heading into the abyss if the president and the ministers stay in power.
