Meshaal: we will not give up on any inch of our land

Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal participated on Saturday in the Palestinian Islamist group's 25th anniversary rally in Gaza.          

In his speech, Meshaal rejected any territorial concession with Israel or recognition of the Jewish state.                

"Palestine is our land and nation from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River, from north to south, and we cannot cede an inch or any part of it," Meshaal said.                  

Talking implicitly about Syria, Meshaal said that Hamas will not compromise on its principles and values and pointed out that Hamas does not support the policy of a state that runs a bloody battle against its people.
