Northern storm leaves Palestine flooded

The storm currently striking Lebanon has also left its mark on Palestinian lands with streets flooding in the West bank leading to the closure of several shops and stores.

Waves reached an unprecedented level, with winds climaxing at 120 km per hour. Trees were also yanked out of place falling over cars and property across Khan Younes.

Weather experts described the storm as the most violent over the past ten years, expecting snow in the North and in Jerusalem by mid-week.

Civil Defense spokesman captain Lo’ay Ben Audi said that no injuries have been reported so far.
