Norman, a sheepdog, rides a bike, a scooter and a skateboard

Norman the sheepdog is no ordinary pooch - he loves to ride a bike, a scooter and a skateboard.

His owner, Karen Cobb, says her beloved pet got a taste for the fast lane when playing with her children's toys at their home in Atlanta, in the US state of Georgia.

"We were just introducing him to kids toys in the backyard, and we put him on the kids' scooter and he loved it, he didn't want to get off," she says.

The four-legged canine proved a natural."He just took to it and it was about two weeks and he was pushing himself on the scooter," Cobb says.Norman's talents have led to a career in television.

The dog is one of the stars of the Hallmark Channel's "Who let the dogs out".

The TV show sees Norman gallivanting around the United States with his friend Tillman, the original skateboarding dog, and his bulldog buddies.

"We just do exiting things across the country. Meet exciting people and each week there is something new in store for the group," Cobb explains.Norman loves the attention.

"When he is performing he gets to be a bit of a ham. You can see when there is a crowd he really amps it up, he gets excited about it," his owner says.
