Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz dies
In a statement, the Saudi royal court announced Saturday morning the death of Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz.

"With deep sorrow and sadness the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz mourns the death of his brother and the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz who died at dawn this morning Saturday outside the kingdom following an illness," the statement published by SPA, the state’s news agency said.

Prince Sultan, believed to be 86 years old, was in the U.S. since last June and underwent a medical surgery last July. Prince Sultan bin Abdul- Aziz was also K.S.A.’s Defense Minister.

To honor his passing the Saudi television decided to break its schedule to play Koranic verses.
