French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said on Monday that France has no intention of pulling out its diplomats from Syria in the wake of a U.S. decided to temporarily withdraw its U.S. ambassador due to threats against his personal safety.

Juppe confirmed during a press conference in Bordeaux that his country has undertaken preventive measures to provide a secure environment for its diplomats and has no intention to pull them out from Damascus.
