Video of dedicated reporter covering China quake in wedding gown goes viral

Shortly after an earthquake struck China, a dedicated TV reporter cut short her wedding, grabbed the microphone and began reporting in her bridal gown and veil.

The journalistic instinct of TV reporter Chen Ying kicked in forcing her to take to the street and report the magnitude 7 quake which struck shortly after 8 am Saturday.

The footage of her extraordinary dedication has since gone viral on the Chinese social networking site, Weibo, where users are praising her professional spirit.

The earthquake, while not as destructive as the one in 2008, which left 90,000 dead, toppled buildings, triggered landslides and disrupted phone and power connections in the region.
