Syria slams blatant US interference in domestic affairs
Syria slammed the U.S. interference in its domestic affairs, in reference to the call addressed to Syrians insurgents by Washington not to hand themselves over to the Syrian authorities. In a statement, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Syrian government condemns the irresponsible statements made by the State Department’s spokesperson Victoria Nuland.

 “The remarks made by Nuland can only be interpreted as an attempt to sow the seeds of strife and support murder and terrorism organized by armed groups against Syrian citizens”, the statement added.   

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said that the blatant interference of the U.S. administration in Syria’s domestic affairs is once again on display.

“We urge the international community to stand in the face of these murderous policies that are in contradiction with the provisions of the international law and the pertinent Security Council resolutions to counter terrorism”, the statement stressed.
