UK foreign minister 'strongly condemns' Russia's 'violation of NATO airspace'

British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Friday condemned "Russia's violation of NATO airspace", after a drone hit a residential building in Romania, branding the incident "extremely dangerous and reckless".

"The UK strongly condemns this grave escalation that puts lives at risk," Cooper said on X, adding she was in contact with Romania's foreign minister and that "the UK stands united with Romania and all allies to defend every inch of NATO territory".
