Algeria: We will not withdraw our ambassador from Damascus

Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci announced on Sunday that the Arab League can lift the suspension against Syria before November 16, confirming that Algeria will not withdraw its ambassador from Damascus.

During a press conference he held with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Kamel Amr, Medelci said that the suspension of Syria’s membership is temporary and can be lifted in the near future.
