ICRC pays visits to Ukrainian and Russian prisoners of war
The International Committee of the Red Cross announced on Thursday that after many years of sporadic and very limited visits, it has finally been able to contact Ukrainian and Russian prisoners of war.

"Last week, the ICRC paid a two-day visit to Ukrainian prisoners of war. Another visit is taking place this week. During the same period, visits were made to Russian prisoners of war. More visits are planned for the end of the month," a statement from the committee said.
